EntelSenSys is a subcontractor to a MoD funded project AURORA with Lancaster University aiming to develop pioneering techniques for real-time on-board image/video processing for autonomous object detection, identification, behaviour classification, tracking and prediction. It will use the unique patented technology and lead to dramatic reduction of computational complexity and related energy, weight and data-link (bandwidth) savings.
EntelSenSys pioneered the VideoDiaries first for a smart phone (for Andorid as well as earlier for Symbian/Nokia). This technology is also applied for other platforms, such as mobile robots (Pioneer 3DX), PC/laptop as well as devices such as wearable cameras. The VideoDiaries APP for Android smart phones automatically collects interesting/curious images – useful for elderly with memory problems (e.g. dementia or Alzheimer patients), interesting to young and can be used for Landmark identification in robotic applications (SLAM), or for cars/motor transport bringing new information for insurers concerning driving experience.
EST is a powerful tool for evolving user behaviour modelling which was applied to users of UNIX in organisation. Similar technique was also used in the MoD funded project STAKE for categorising users in real time based on phone call (including mobile phones) data (various data such as time, duration, destination of the calls, age, nationality of the callers and so on without using the content of the conversations). THe second version of EST (EST 2.0) does have new types of evolving clustering approaches (ELM, DEC) and can also be delivered in Java making it platform (and Matlab) independent.
EntelSenSys Ltd applied eSensor (a pioneering self-calibrating sensor) to a large oil refinery in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife, Spain run by CEPSA in 2006-2010 providing self-calibrated estimates of the inflamability index and quality of the end product (temperature of evaporation of naphtha, kerosene, gasoil. This technology was also used in research with The Dow Chemical (USA) for chemical industry problems (e.g. polymerisation).
EntelSenSys Ltd is Lancaster, England based SME that offers state of the art technology solutions for Intelligent & Autonomous Learning Systems.
